The trip posts continue! Things have picked up around here again, so I do apologise for my posting dropping to
nil. This week I present a
double post!
 |
| You know you were thinking it. |
It seems fitting to talk about Buckingham as the weather reminds me so very much of when Uri was here (even if only for a few days!). The shorts have come out, the doors have flown open, and the bees have occasionally come in. No swans this time, though, and a good thing, too---I've given my badminton racket back!
 |
| Could've been me. Again. |
Back to the
fiance (omigoodness, do I ever love saying that!) traveling chronicles. The weather took a turn for the utterly lovely upon our arrival to Buckingham and provided us with a series of beautiful strolls through town. I think Uri's absolute favorite bit was the graveyard.
 |
| ...where we found a sweet kitty! |
Is it odd to say that the graveyard is a lovely place? It truly is in these small towns. The graves are so old you can't even read most of them and the headstones lean every which way (sort of like the roofs around here, ha!).
 |
| Speaking of quite British things, good luck finding 2L bottles of Strongbow in your local Tes---I mean, Publix! |
We spent one and a half wonderful days relaxing in the Buckingham sunshine on the banks of the river Great Ouse, sampling the wares of a couple local pubs, and cooking together again. Oh yes, and the fiance bought me the loveliest tulips! I can't choose my favorite shot, so I'm showing you the best! :)
Yet my favorite pictures of all are from an impromptu photo session that ended up celebrating our engagement just days prior...and yes, this time, I'm posting a picture of the ring!
 |
| LOOKIT MAH TANZANITE! |
 |
| Look at that colour! |
 |
| Safe to say that this one is our favourite. :) |
Next post---London! Seems fitting as I'm headed there this weekend! And I leave you with one more dose of epicosity...Isha out!
Cheers!
